Be a part of the cure...

Following recaps the 2008 event: The Friends are 40 members strong and are planning new and exciting events to get us ready for "Evening In the Park 2008"  March 15, 2008.

Join the "Phoenix Friends" March 15, 2008 at our annual fund raising event at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa. The goal of the evening is to raise funds to support the Arizona Cancer Center's mission to prevent and cure cancer.  In addition to experiencing the joy of giving, you will enjoy an evening of friendship, fun and the most imaginative and spirited silent auction in the Valley.

You will love discovering and bidding on the many  one-of-a-kind treasures such as: luxurious trips, creative get-always, trendy and vintage jewelry, inspiring art, coveted sports and spa packages, and more.   In addition to the action at the auction, you will enjoy a hosted bar with a gourmet dinner followed by dancing.

As usual, your "Friend's" will come up with some grand surprises for you and your guests.  Tickets are $250 per person/$2500 per table of ten (10).  RESERVE NOW... be a part of the cure...be a part of the magic!

It's too early to announce all of our 2008 Live Auction items but come back soon to check. Our first Live Art item is our original oil that will be as our cover for the event program:

Your Napa Valley Adventure included round trip airfare from Phoenix to Northern California, rental car and starts as you check into the historic Meadwood Resort. During your three night stay you will enjoy two spa treatments, a dinner package at the Michelin Guide Two Star Restaurant and a wine tasting tour.

Located in the heart of Napa Valley, Meadowood's character and its name come from its unique setting. Recognized as a special place for centuries for its natural protection, abundant water and fertile land, Meadowood is a place of great beauty and rare seclusion. Located in a beautiful, two hundred-fifty acre valley, Meadowood is reminiscent of a private estate in a bygone era. Gracious hospitality defines the style of service and timeless, natural beauty the sense of place.

The property features championship croquet lawns, seven tennis courts, a nine-hole walking golf course, hiking trails, swimming, a full-service health spa, a wine educator, an annual cultural affairs calendar, eighty-five guest rooms, suites and cottages and wine country cuisine.
